Several of the class actions that have been filed are already consolidated in the Eastern District of Louisiana Federal Court. Mr. DiLeo will be Of Counsel to the Executive Committee and is accepting clients for representation relating to all of the Hurricane Katrina related class actions, including the Murphy Oil Class Action, and levee break class actions.

Mr. DiLeo is also one of the primary attorneys representing (pending class certification) clients affected by the devastating destruction of Hurricane Katrina due to the loss of Louisiana's wetlands, which acted as a natural buffer to reduce a hurricane's strength, said wetlands having been destroyed, in large part, due to drilling, dredging and pipeline activities. That case, "Barasich, et al v. Columbia Gulf Transmission Company, et al" is consolidated with the Murphy Oil Litigation and has also been filed in the Eastern District of Louisiana.
