An individual in Louisiana has sadly lost his life in a motor vehicle accident. Meanwhile, another individual has suffered serious injuries in the collision. The recent accident took place on a Saturday evening along Louisiana Highway 31.
How the crash occurred
The tragic accident took place at around 5:30 p.m. According to police, a 23-year-old individual was driving on the highway and suddenly left the roadway and entered a ditch. The car then reportedly struck a tree and embankment.
The driver of the car ended up suffering serious injuries in the crash and was therefore transported to a medical center. Another 23-year-old man was riding in the car as well and also sustained critical injuries in the crash. Sadly, he passed away from his injuries after being taken to the hospital. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
