How the car crash happened
The unfortunate accident took place shortly after noon. According to authorities, a 77-year-old woman was driving a car north along Louisiana Highway 308. All of a sudden, she reportedly attempted to pass another car while in a no-passing zone.
Police said the woman ended up colliding with another car after breaching the road’s centerline. Both drivers suffered injuries and were therefore transported to a medical center.
